- While verifying your PF UAN Card your account might be inactive, where you will see the following error.
- The following could be the reasons which is why you are seeing an error stating Invalid or not found:
1. It could be that you are using an old UAN number.
- In this case please reach out to your last employer or Login to your PF UAN account to get the latest UAN number.
2. The UAN number you are using to attempt the verification is not active.
- In this case please visit the EPFO website and to the bottom right you will see a list of options.
- From the list select the option “Activate UAN” and follow the steps as directed.
- Once your UAN number is activated you can revisit the Equal Gateway and verify your PF UAN Card.
